The EPAct 179D Tax Incentive for AEE Companies and Commercial Clients
This presentation is designed to explain tax incentives from the Energy Policy Act (EPAct 179D) and cost segregation. We will discuss how EPAct 179D and cost segregation tax benefits can strategically apply to AEE companies and commercial clients. These incentives can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to recoup their investment in building equipment, particularly those items related to the energy systems in the building. We will also discuss how vendors of Facility managers can also benefit from these incentives. With the permanent extension of EPAct 179D tax incentives, companies can successfully plan their future projects around this benefit. This presentation will also cover recent guidelines issued.
